Here are our Top 25 picks from 4 different regions. Your input is always welcomed. For the leaders in the 4 different regions, see the updated list below. These programs are based on 5 different criteria's, such as Athletic performance, Community Involvement and website. These areas receive a score from our staff and advisors. When a final score is tabulated, that number is compared to other programs and the rankings are created.

In a effort to get a closer look at the Football Nation, The First and Goal Football nation has decided to make announced and unannounced visits to the organizations. In order to rank them according to all aspects of the programs.

The First and Goal Football Nation will be visiting qualified Youth Football Organizations who where nominated to be in the upcoming 2007 Statewide TOP 25. If you would like FNG to visit your organization for consideration into the 2007 Statewide TOP 25, please email us at info@firstandgoalnation.com. List of the above organizations does not imply the organizations will be automatically put into the State Top 25, nor does it imply that organizations not listed here are not being considered for the Top 25 rankings.

2008 Regional Leaders

California is the home of some of the best youth players in the nation. As we begin to showcase these teams and individuals, send us your opinions and input.

Have a board member or appointed representative register with us by giving us your league link along with nominations of 2008 So Cal TOP 25 Programs. It's that simple.

The First and Goal Football Nation is the only ranking system for all the combined youth organizations.

A separate ranking system called our Power Rankings are based on Wins and Losses, sportsman-like behavior and atleast 20 games for the entire age group. (Your league must be registered in our database to qualify.) All levels from micros, pee-wee, clinics, to Midget's must be included in the record - the overall win/loss record must be submitted weekly. For more info go to YOUTH POWER RANKINGS.
